SuperSource Quat Sanitizer Off Label Claim for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19)
March 23rd, 2020: Atlanta, Georgia – SuperSource Inc. (https://www.supersourceinc.com) announces that he EPA has approved Master Label changes to SuperSource Quat Sanitizer as of 3/13/20. This product kills SARS-CoV-2 the novel coronavirus that caused the disease COVID-19.
SuperSource Quat Sanitizer has been added to the EPA’s List N: Disinfectants for Use Against SARS-CoV-2. Look for the first 7 digits of the EPA Registration number: 10324-81
VIRUCIDAL PERFORMANCE: This product kills all human coronaviruses in 10 minutes at 3.5 oz. per 4.5 gal. of water (450 ppm active) and 5% soil on hard, non-porous surfaces. 0.78 oz. per 1 gal. of water or 0.2 oz per quart of water. (For quart spray bottles: 0.2 oz = 1.2 teaspoons or 0.4 tablespoons or 5.9 mL)
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: It is a violation of Federal law to use this product in a manner inconsistent with its labeling. Before using this product, food products and packaging materials must be removed from the room or carefully protected.
FOR USE AS A GENERAL DISINFECTANT, VIRUCIDE, CLEANER: 1. Pre-clean heavily soiled areas. 2. Apply use solution of 3.5 oz. of this product per 4.5 gal. of water (or equivalent use dilution) to disinfect hard, non-porous surfaces with a sponge, brush, cloth, mop, by immersion, auto scrubber, mechanical spray device, hand pump, coarse pump or trigger spray device. For spray applications, spray 6-8 inches from surface. Do not breathe spray. 3. Treated surfaces must remain wet for 10 minutes. 4. Allow to air dry. 5. Prepare a fresh solution daily or when visibly dirty.
FOOD CONTACT SANITIZING DIRECTION: Prior to application, remove gross food particles and soil by a pre-flush or pre-scrape and when necessary, presoak. Then thoroughly wash or flush objects with a good detergent or compatible cleaner, followed by a potable water rinse before applications of the sanitizing solution.
